I don't have a problem with it being the same, kinda hoping something would be different this year. That's all
Calm down people

I do wish they would have a Lake Fork Division, now your on to something

Call me crazy but I'm fairly certain that Champs has shown they're open to trying different things and making changes. So much so that people have worn them out over the last couple of years regarding many of them. This year they righted the ship and gave the masses what they asked for and the turnout speaks for itself. I would imagine with the new water levels that next spring is going to bring some record events for them.

Would had been nice to see a change in the lakes fished, maybe Chambers or Texoma.
With that being said Champs is a Great Trail and the People that run the trail and fish it are some of the best around.

At the end of the day Bass Champs is a business. They set the schedules and the format for their tournaments to try and make the masses happy and also to run a viable business.

We as anglers can't expect them to fish lake "so and so" to appease us personally, if that lake will not draw enough entrants to fit into a viable business model. We all have certain lakes we feel better about competing on, but those lakes may not fit into the grand scheme of things.

Overall Champs is a fair and well run tournament trail, we will continue to pay our entry fee and compete.

Highport would be the best ramp and if you use Highport to run a tournament out of, Highports makes you agree not to ish the marina.

That is/was the rule at Highport, and maybe that is why they don't go there..

Far from it. Tawakoni is a really good lake. Just fishes different. Its going through a rough time now but I bet it gets back to being good this fall.

What's wrong with Tawakoni ? Just gotta know how to fish it.
9th place check there this year, so NO we cannot all agree.
In fact Fork had a higher number of teams that zeroed & the average weight of the fish was only 1.38 pounds compared to 2.56 pounds on Tawakoni.

Cedar Creek had less zeros and more limits than any of the other North lakes.

Tawakoni is a good bass lake. It was off this year, due to the floods. It would be cool if Bass Champs had a Fork division and not have any slot lakes on the North schedule.
