I agree with Texoma, Palestine, And Ray Roberts. I haven't fished Tawakoni, Ray Hubbard, or Cedar Creek, so no opinion there. I like Possum Kingdom and did like Hubbard Creek when it had water in it.

There are very few trails that offer a good enough payout to attract a consistent following. Without a good following I usually steer away from fishing them because you have to make the top three or so in order to keep from losing money for the weekend when you consider entry, fuel, lodging, etc.

I think most fishermen choose their trails to fish based on payouts. I've heard great things about y'all's trail and would LOVE to see y'all come to the southeast Tx region. We have two trails that make it worthwhile over there...not naming any names...and one of those trails only has one stop on Rayburn.

I would 100% support you guys and fish the events if you brought similar payouts to Rayburn, Toledo Bend, etc. which are two of the best lakes in Tx.

Looking forward to seeing if y'all come that way in 2017. If anyone else agrees and would attend the east/southeast Tx region for this trail let it be known on here so they will know they have the support to head that way in a couple years.

Thanks for the information Bryan, I'll pass this along to the owner of TTZ. Ultimately if we can get the angler support we would love to have several Texas regions and not just Central Texas. It's great to hear that people in other areas of the state are interested in the TTZ experience.

Also, an FYI to all anglers out there, the online registration for the 2016 trail is open:
