Just wondering if they disconnect their hot foots for tournaments that they know they are making long runs. I know my foot gets tired after 10 minutes. These guys are filling up with gas twice a day. How easy is it to dissconnect the hot foot and reconnect after a tournament?

I never have disconnected mine. I've ran 240 miles in a day so I know what you mean about you foot getting tired. I have never seen any other pros disconnect theirs.

Wakeboard boats have it. It's called "Perfect Pass". Get you RPMs where you like it, and set the cruise.

My sandals on long runs become uncomfortable, I try to make sure I am wearing regular shoes if I am making a run. Usually not an issue in the winter for me.

That is covering some ground right there buddy!

I attended a BASS event on Lake Mead where all the guys that did well ran 140 miles ONE-WAY to fish. The tourney was won up there too.

A little bit different than WOT though. LOL

Down in Orange there was an hour run with 90% of it at WOT and I didn't see anyone disconnecting the Hot Foot.

My foot gets tired after 15 or 20 minutes.... An hour would have to hurt.

I rode with Short last year at the Red and we ran 125 miles flat out and I dont think he ever lifted his foot. He fishes 200 days a year. Just another day at the office.

Well 1st of all my junker won't run 2 hrs wide open without getting gas, lol, efi won't do it, much less running at 6500 rpm solid, I know newer rigs will and tanks are bigger, but come on, can they not find fish closer? And when they get there their time is cut way short,? Do they have gas boats on the water?

I'm not sure a lot of them run hot foots. I don't think I would if there were some long run tourneys that year.

There are quite a few that don't.
