I know some guys that puts fish frying oil in there chum.
Don't know if it helps but it makes one heck of a oil stick.
If I was going to put beer in my chum.I think I would drink the beer and [censored] in the chum.

No sense in wasting good beer! Go buy some yeast and add it to your chum. Plus yeast is WAY cheaper than beer!

Somebody pointed out in another thread that beer is pasteurized anyway and all the yeast in it is dead. So don't abuse alcohol. Drink it!
