Took a lil trip down to lake Waco an had some slab snatching fun! I had the pleasure of fishing with the man himself Ronnie "Hurt'em" Roberts an had a good ol time! The day started a lil slow catchin dinks so we moved across the lake and settled in on a brush pile in about 14'. After about a good 5 mins or so, I look over an see Ronnie pullin in a nice slab! We catch about 10 or so and hit a different spot. We relocate on a deeper brush pile in about 24' of water an it was on an poppin from there! There were a few thumps but the bite was light for the most part! Had to be watching because the line would go slack in the blink of an eye! Went home with 36 good eating size fish in the 11-12" range! Biggest was about 13"! Stopped by a steakhouse on the way back to top of off!

WacoKid(Dean) thanks again for the nice trip! You put us on fish an had us laughing the whole time! Good times for sure...Awesome service an will be back soon! This was my first time fishing with Ronnie but it seemed as if it was just another trip for us! Real good guy with lots of knowledge, oh did I mention he worked that Bonehead rod so good it made me wana drop out $100 for one myself!

had a blast with Wacokid! as Action Jackson,stated,we will be back.A big shout out to Ruffneck2000 for mentioning the chicken fried steak at heittmillers.Go get you some! If not already shared in another post,found out that "Action Jackson" and myself are tighter than most slab slayers. First and foremost,anyone on the forum has the same crappie addiction,a given.Second,we found out that our birthday is the same day and Thirdly,we are of the same Fraternity!

I Told you chicken fried steak at Heittmillers is to die for! Glad you guys got on the fish! I got a limit today for the first time on Lake Waco and I found them on my own but must thank Waco kid for teaching me the patterns Colors and what FOW to fish on the lake because boy they will shut OFF at a certain time of day and then turn on like a light switch at the right time just as fast! He saved me a lot of time and money. Crop1 pm me your number.

BG Bleeding shad really!? My best and most fish was on the Jiggum Clown today ask Waco about it when we went out. I lost all of them and have to order more, Constant pursuant outfitters Pink frog with white head and red head with white frog was good also.

Looks like I need to take a trip to Waco!!! I need some of that action of slaying slabs!!

Fun times for sure! Its not very common that you find someone with the same passion, birthday, and Fraternity as you! Thats kinda like a once in a lifetime type of deal! Cant wait for our next trip Ronnie, this was just the first of many more to come! Big ups to Ruffneck2000 for that awesome chicken fried steak, just like you said its HUGE and to die for!!! I see that'll be my go to spot anytime Im down fishing on Waco!!! An yessuh, that bleeding shad produced well along with Slab Slobber! We should all link up and hit Waco with Dean for a lil thump "action" in the near future!
