Had a great day on the water testing out the new gear and getting the catfish season rolling Southern Monsters style. Landed lots of fish and kept some to clean. Released the gar and big blue. Love the new gear I got we put it to the test today. I have lots of openings available for coming weeks give me a call or text today to book your next catfishing adventure with Southern Monsters.

Nice. I've seen a few with crooked tails and even bent higher up like mid back, always wonder how they got that way and how long they've lived with the handicap. Are you suspend drifting and what rod holders are those?

I couldn't tell you the name of them. Bought them thru a friend. I was suspended on some rods as I was drifting. Drifting produced the best results yesterday but caught some nice eats suspend. I have landed lots of fish like that out of with the bent tails from small ones up to 50 pounds

They look like Hills Rod holders is why I asked. Can't get a bite suspend drifting. I've almost decided to go and only suspend drift until I get one. Watch Steve Douglas do it all the time, jlowe and smoky do it too. Thinking about spending the cash to get a remote trolling motor for better control while drifting.

I need one of them for days like today where there is no wind and I need to be drifting. Smokey can't catch no fish lol but its fun wish I had big rivers to do it like Steve Douglas does. We could catch big fish all year that way

I like my Hills Rod holders and they are at a good price tommy is a good guy and make one hell of a rod holder I would sujest them to any one and he back them 100% and you cant beat that. I think I bought 14 for a 160 or so 7 on each side if you guys are looking for rod holder and not want to pay a fortune then hillsrodholders.com is the place to go my buddy has drift masters wich are really nice he sold them and bout the 30deg 3in stems

here is is web sit he is a really nice guy I had a disabled vet who had on arm tommy sent me 2 extra rod holders for him he is a great guy to do business with and the one pice design really hold up when you snag a tree
