Six Ole Geezers reports have been dismal. Been wanting to go up to Eisenhower but don't relish a skunk. Might wait a few weeks and let things cool off.

John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

I'll be heading up there next weekend to fish for the first time in years. Staying in the cabins at Mill Creek, and I'd love to hear some good news.

Sand bass have been good around platter flats.. From rail road bridge to willaford woods.. Haven't seen many stripers.. Stripers seemed to slowed down some on river, but cats have been great on fresh shad..

Lots of sandbass being caught an a few stripers mixed in. Fishing has steadily been improving and should get better as the lake turns over and water cools a bit. It has been tough no doubt, but this is the worst flood Texoma has ever experienced and will take time to recover. Lots of catfish being caught on live bait. Slabs seem to be working best for me on the stripers and sandies. There are plenty of fish close to where you are staying just have to find the group that wants to eat!
