Don't think I've ever broke one on a fish. Several Broken tips in car doors and other mishaps.

Lol a lot. I broke 2 within 3 days when pre fishing for a high school tournament on lbj. Boat flipped a 4lber and broke the rod in 3 places the broke one setting the hook on a 10 inch fish.

9 or 10. Only one of them wasn't my fault. Truck door claimed 4 of them in one incident.

A few. All from damage from improper handling! Stepping on them, hitting something when setting the hook, etc

Heck... I get warranties on my rods so I actually purposely snap some just to get a new one... (Bass Pro Gear Guard the warranty is like 20 bucks for 2 years) it's the best deal out there. I have ran through probably 8-10 rods in the past 2 or 3 years

1 in 50 years with a fish on. A couple in the ceiling fan.

Been fishing my entire life.
Broke maybe 2 or 3 rods, all my fault (or my car's/truck's/foot's fault).

Also, in general, rods are not designed to pull a snag.
Waaaay too many people out there pulling snags with the rod.
Stop it.

Broke 2 and threw rod and reel in the lake Ha ha that made me laugh. I have not broke any on a fish, not a one. Slammed a few in a trunk once, that broke em good, but other than that; never had one break.
