Decided on a Diablo Amigo.
I plan to fish in big tanks (mainly an 11 acre tank) and in coves on Lake Granbury and at Wheeler Branch. Any discussion on my choice of yak would be appreciated.
Now my question. I have $350 in Cabelas gift certs that I would like to use. Does Cabelas have any good paddles or PFD's or any accessories that I need to use that money up on. I would rather use my Cabelas gift certs on the accessories I will need even if it cost a few bucks more there.
Thanks in advance Brandon

An excellent choice for those destinations and more.
Since the Amigo is a minimalist approach and it blends aspects of a kayak with a SUP, more than, say, a kayak and a canoe, here is what I'd want:
1) A crate for the tank well area and it can be held down by the bungee cords back there (Austin Kayak has a great one);
2) I'd mount a 3 combo rod holder to the crate;
3) A double bladed paddle, likely a 280 CM model (9' 3") so I could use it sitting, standing and as a push pole, too;
3) A paddle clip arrangement to slip it into while you are fishing. Tons of ways to rig this;
4) and, an anchor trolley with small anchor.
That would really set you up for some serious fishing.

All my ordering will be online. Maybe im just searching wrong, but I did not see a 280 CM paddle. Any links to any of them on Cabelas. Links to anything you would get at cabelas would be great.

I use a Cabela's brand pfd which I have been very happy with, but I believe the particular model has been discontinued. Here is one which I have heard good things about: Cabelas PFD I wish you had asked this a couple of weeks ago as this one was recently on sale at half price. Cabelas also has a wide selection of inflatable pfd's if you would prefer to go that route. I doubt you will find a 280cm paddle, but they do have a pretty good selection of rod holders, and other accessories such as anchor trolleys, leashes, drift socks, etc.
This might be the weirdest, most pointless post ever. I am not against golf, since I cannot but suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering fishing

I might call the 800 number and ask them about the 280. You may not need that length anyway . . . and I don't know your height and other inputs that determine proper paddle choice. I'd imagine Cabela's can get you what you need!
You can get a black crate at Walmart for a few bucks. I saw them just the other day and one would work just fine.
Cabela's will have rod holders that can be mounted to the crate. Just use a small backing plate made of wood and use small bolts, washers and nuts to hook the rod holder triplet to the rear of your crate.
Get ready to have a blast! Next spring when the bass move in real shallow, then all during the spawning period, you'll be able to go right in with them, quietly, then look straight down in many cases and see your targets. Brad

Cabela's is sending out 10% off anything coupons right now, so that might help a bit. I just received one today.
