I keep a spray bottle with 1/2 water and 1/2 vinegar in my boat lightly spray on and wipe off.

I keep a spray bottle with 1/2 water and 1/2 vinegar in my boat lightly spray on and wipe off. ditto

Whatever you use make sure there's no ammonia in it.

As mentioned above, Humminbird recommends Windex with vinegar.
Don't spray it directly, instead spray it into a cloth,etc.

I use the above Windex too. However, i just spray it directly on and wipe it off before it runs down to the bottom. I use a very small spray bottle and a good quality micro cloth that I take with me in the boat. Works great on my Humminbird 999

Never spray any electronic device that contains an LCD or LED display. Spray the cleaning cloth, then wipe the cleaner on the screen. 45 years of repairing electronic devices says I'm right.
