This fast sinking shad worked well in the schooling bass, looks great in the water. Cast out into the schooling fish, allowed to sink then twitched back allowing to sink again a few times. Looks like an injured shad. DC resin to finish of course

That's one I have to add to my to do list. I'm guessing lead wraps under the mylar to help it sink level?
Every time I tie fuzzy stuff around barbell eyes, my fly looks like it has a mohawk, lol.

Should not need any lead, the eyes are the weight and it swims hook point up. A lot of takes were on the drop
