Pictures Added - WOW the trip was worth every penny. We even had time to put some big slabs in the boat as well. My side scan and down scan has always produced a pretty good picture, but it's perfect now. My sonar was mediocre at best. Now I can actually see my jig and watch a crappie fly up and eat it. Awesome! I also learned that I can make both units display either the front or the rear Sonar Transducer, or have each unit display it's own Transducer. Well dang, I thought I took a couple screen shots of the 2D Sonar. I was so impressed with the picture, I completely forgot to take a screen shot. I Promise I will post some 2D Sonar screen shots on the next trip. Hopefully I'll get a picture of my jig being eaten. I did take some Down Scan and Side Scan Shots though. I said Slade was Magic - Well Abracadabra - Jig goes in - Crappie comes out. Here is the proof! As you can tell, we all had a Great Time!!! As you can see, we really had to fight the wind. Dutch, Glade you were able to get the trip in with Slade. That 2D is amazing once it is dialed in.

What Low unit are you running? Lowrance HDS 5 up front. Lowrance HDS 7 on the console.

Slade,
It was a great trip and thank you so much for spending the evening with us and helping us hone our Crappie hunting skills. Can't wait to get off my next stretch of days at work and get out on the water again. It was a perfect evening, perfect weather, and perfect company.
And we got to catch some Crappie!!

Slade abilities to get your units tuned are FOR REAL! For those running the Lowrance Gen 2 Touch.....update your firmware and install an LSS-2 box. I bought 1 from Gonzz and after some slight setting changes, I can now count the crappie on structure with my SI. My image sharpness increased 20-25% easily  I'll save some images and post later

Dang them pics are clear. I think them tires are P255/50 16's.
I'll need the expert Slade to verify though.
Slade is the real deal.
He can dial in them electronics like nobody's business.
