Is there a single permit one can purchase that allows you to use all docks in Texas instead paying each time? I have seen several trucks with green rear view mirror hangers that I thought was a permit...

The closest thing would be a pass for state parks. I believe you can use it at any marina in a state park. Other than that, the marinas are all owned by different people.

Or a Corp of Engineers pass. It will get you in all corp run ramps. State Park Pass = $70 COE Pass $ 30

Most of the docks I have paid with the drop box, fill out info I think are all TPWD...

There are very few boat ramps outside of the state parks that are ran by TPWD. Also, very few ramps at DFW COE lakes are ran by the COE. Most ramps are leased out to cities that have their own pass.
