Well after years of low water levels in the creeks (and low fish numbers) during the winter, I am finally going to get my guide license and pull the trigger on this guiding thing and do some guiding on the creeks this winter (from the bank). This is depending on the fish showing up in the numbers that they did in 2011 when the lakes were the levels they are now and that our El Nino doesn't make this winter a wash out. I'm looking at guiding on the Lewisville and (mostly) Grapevine creeks.
Below is a preview of what the bite should be like..

What would you charge for one of these trips? How many people could you take at one time?

That's awesome Anthony! You are the best bank fisherman I know. Can I still fish with you? LOL

Should be a good time and worth every penny. Anthony is a passionate angler, and definitely knows how to catch crappie. Any idea when this type of bite usually starts? I've never fished creeks in the winter, too much hunting smile

I'm looking at taking two people tops at a time. Most of the spots are hard to fish with any more than that. It should be going good by thanksgiving and go through April. I'm looking at charging less than 150 for 2 people and around 80-100 for a one person trip. I will also be having a fish guarantee or you money back. I still have a lot of stuff to figure out and will only be doing this part time for now. I'm still going to school and am working a full time job. I'm excited! I love showing people around on the creeks!
