Has anyone camped and fished at Ratcliff lake in Davy Crockett National Forest or Boykin Lake in Angelina National Forest? I am also curious about the Mill ponds along the 4 C's Hiking trail through Davy Crockett? Might be fun to try some of these places if I could get some tips or information on any of them. Thanks...

I am 99% sure you can fish by canoe or kayak and a small boat with a trolling motor. No gasoline motors.

I tried Ratcliff two weekends ago. After arriving later than expected, I managed to fish all night out of the kayak. It appeared that the water was very low. I didn't get a bite...
