It is amazing how some parts of Hawaii looks like West Texas Mo Yep, driving through the interior of the Big Island, you pass cattle and goat ranches that look like home. The big difference is the expanse of blue ocean below you and the volcanoes above you. And Kona looks like Central Texas Hill Country. Went for 10 days in June and if Im being totally honest was disappointed. Most unimpressive tropical vacation Ive had. Add in the pain in the neck of getting there, it's a "never go back" place for me. If Im gonna travel like that, Im going to Bora Bora. Aside from my rant.. AWESOME PICTURES!! Thanks for sharing and glad yall had a great trip.

My wife and kids vacationed to the Big Island and Oahu for 8 days several years ago. It's truly paradise on Earth and our best vacation ever. The views, mountains, beaches, rain forests, volcanoes, drives, food, etc. were all absolutely incredible.

Very nice. Thanks for taking the time to post all these incredible pics. Aside from the natural beauty these pics captured, there is some skill behind the camera. That is some quality photography. I bet the original size un-edited pics are incredible. I really like that pic where half is above the water and half is below and the fish is just under the surface. That's a neat shot.
I went to Kona and all around the big island for a few days back in 1992. It was the first time I had seen the ocean or flew on an airplane. It was amazing. I went in December and the humpback whales were all around. On top of all the natural beauty we got to see the whales breaching every day.
