I have a Veritas I use as backup/loaner rod. That rod has had the [censored] beat out of it, and still performs fine for me. But my next inexpensive CB rod will be the Fury.

^^^ This is what I've got paired with the Chronarch. It's very smooth and easy to cast. Feels a little heavier than my other LEW's rods n reel set ups but guess that's normal for cranking set up? idk

Used it in pool. Medium action would be great for up to 1.5 cranks and 3/8-1/2 traps. MH will be go to for the 2.5 cranks and heavier traps. I'm impressed very light for all fiberglass. And really has a crank bait rod feel.

Fiberglass composite is much lighter than full fiberglass. It is not like your granddaddy's glass rods.

Great rod! Really a steal for the price great for 1.5 cranks need little more backbone IMO for the bigger square bills and medium divers. Defiantly gonna get a MH for larger cranks

So which do you like better for the 1.5's? Duckett or Tatula? Weigh about the same? What's the flex difference between the two?
