Went out to Lewisville Sunday morning, launched at the #2 boat ramp at Lake Park. I had to beach the boat next to a park bench still partially under water, the courtesy dock is under water and closed. I went back to the dam and first fished some flooded brush on the east side without a bite. I went to the dam and got several bites I missed and caught a 1 1/2 pounder on a Rage Craw Texas rigged. I changed to a senko thinking I might get them to grab it better but didn't get but one bite and changed back to the rage craw and now nothing.
I tried a wacky worm by the tires near sneaky Petes, nothing there. I threw a spinner bait near the I 35 bridge (you can't see the rip rap now) for a few minutes and decided to call it a day. There were lots of skiers and as always some had to do all their skiing paralleling the dam 100 yards away creating a constant wake. All said you may have better luck. I'm not much of a fisherman in the first place. Yet.
