After running the Onix 10 & 8 on my boat for a few months now, I decided to meet up with Slade (Forkfish on TFF) on Saturday to let him work his magic. And that he did. He got the pics much cleaner than I had gotten them and showed me a few new tricks that the units are capable of. Thanks Slade for a job very well done

Do you have to take your boat, or just the head units?

Do you have to take your boat, or just the head units?
It is best that you take your boat. It will have your transducers mounted in the spot where as when the unit is dialed in. Oooohhhh SUPER NICE, I'll bet those Onix units are turning out some GREAT scans..... Do you care to share a few of'em?? Thanks in advance!!! We did take several screen shots. Slade saved a couple so maybe he will share them here when he spots this thread. I will capture some when we go out again soon and share them.

 Here's my setup on the 98,99 series. Even though there are no fish on it, the details of the coloums are flawless.

Alot of people do not know it, but that is a very vital key to perfection with your units. Wire them to a block, sraight off of the battery. I have seen numerous issues with switches.

Yes I totally agree, 12+ volts required for any if the SI units to perform properly....
