I don't fish Benbrook ever, but Pete and I made a trip out there today

Never heard of any by caught out there by as we were working down a bank I mentioned that it's a perfect area for a smallie

And bam, caught this little guy on a speedcraw

Looked up the stocking history but nothing for smallies
Although there is a 5 lb lake record from 1988

Been fishin Benbrook since the 50s and never caught one there. That is great and hope they will get a good population. I've always thought it should be suited for Smallies.
