Heard the ramps were back open on Bardwell, and decided to go check it out. We launched at Highveiw, and the ramp is in good shape. The courtesy dock doesn't have a walkway to it anymore, and it is blown up against the bank making it hard to use. There was only a couple other trucks in the parking lot, but looked like there was a dozen or so over at the marina. I was glad to see them getting business. We saw several boats load and unload at Loves, so it must be good now too.
We drifted cut shad on the mainlake from the highveiw ramp south to the dam. Wound up with 3 blues from 3-12 pounds and 1 small channel cat. The morning was so still we had to powerdrift using the ipilot and when we quit a little storm had blown up making it hard to stay on track even with 2 drift socks out the back and the ipilot working hard on the front.
