we hunted 10 miles of the river yesterday after getting on a some smaller alligator gar, about two hours before dark we stumbled into a new gar hole we nicknamed the G spot (George Saber picked the spot) we ended up having a 7 foot gar pick our bait up 5 minutes after we put baits out, it stripped 150 yards of line on the surface where we could see it then it dropped the bait when we got a birds nest, we fished the spot till dark watching 4 or 5 monster gar come to the surface in the hole, need to get back to that area again before they move again, yesterdays trip was a little more like hunting than fishing trying to find the monster gar of a lifetime ![[Linked Image]](https://scontent-dfw1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfl1/t31.0-8/11953568_938441846213863_6158672604161545220_o.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://scontent-dfw1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfp1/t31.0-8/11921872_938442056213842_3526122368954302877_o.jpg)
