The Lake Fork Anglers 15th tournament of 2015 is Thursday Sept 10 out of Oak Ridge Marina.

Registration starts at 5:30 AM at Oak Ridge. The tournament starts at 6:30 AM and runs until 2:30 PM. You have until 3:00 PM to bring your score sheets to be scored with payout and "the rest of the story" to follow.

Anglers may go out of any ramp they want too.

Finally it seems most of the fish caught have moved off the banks and into a little deeper water. At least for some. The first three places this week all went to drop shotters. Amazing. And for the first time in weeks no real big fish were caught (real big for us is 7 lb +).


1st went to Steve Chick with 5 bass for 9.06 with a 3.17 lunker.
2nd went to Bruce Allen with 5 bass for 8.89 and the 4.73 lunker of the day.
3rd went to Bill Ailes with 4 bass for 5.48 with a 2.88 lunker.

The LFA fishes every other Thursday daytime at Lake Fork only. Persons interested in joining or fishing as a guest should PM me or e-mail me at sjbasser@aol.com.

Here is your opportunity to fish with friendly knowledgeable (most of the time) Lake Fork anglers for the cost of a $5 annual dues and a $12 entry fee. Slot fish count.

Sometimes Fork is a big question mark. But even though we don't always slay them a few will figure it out and win the money. And then tell everyone attending the "weighin" how, what, and where. What you need to know to duplicate that feat.

Boat seat drawings are held after the 2nd tournament each month for the following month.
