This is a minnow found in eastern Texas lakes and streams, from the Brazos River eastward and northward to the Red River. It’s commercially used as bait fish for larger game fish. You may have seen them in calm shallow water along the edge of the shoreline or in the back of small creek arms. Been meaning to work on this pattern for a while now. Finally got to it.

The lure blank is a copy of a MegaBass Ito Vision 110. The blank weighs 12 grams, is 4.5 inches long, has three hook hangers for size #6 hooks and an internal weight transfer system. The pattern in the pictures isn't clear coated yet. In the next revision the lateral line coloration will be much lighter and a bit broader. Thinkin’ this lure would be good for bass lurking in the edge of shoreline moss or pads late in the evening or early mornings. Twitch - long pause - twitch, twitch...looking forward to some cooler weather so I can try it out.

That looks very similar to the Ghost Minnows on lake Amistad also. Parts of the last 1/3 to the tail are clear you can see right through it. What a job you have done on it. I can't wait to see the more predominate lateral line version.

Looks really nice as usual, only thing I might do differently for version 1.1 is start with the semi holographic blank and shade the sections you want with some silver and pearl white. Also giving you the option to leave the bait semi transparent and use some of the water color to get your final result.
