Rex, I had what Barack might call a 'teachable moment', but since I kind'a picked up on it myself I'm going to call it a 'learnable moment'. When I read your post regarding your trip to Yellowstone, the message my brain received was: cutthroats, drys. The part about your enjoyment of fishing in a beautiful place in solitude.......whoosh, right over the top of my head. In a heartbeat, I jumped in and took your post in another direction.

Clearly, I should have congratulated you on a memorable trip and thanked you for the picture and post. Then, I should have created my own post and referenced your post as being my inspiration to share. I'm new at this and it's embarrassing my first real post included a breach of etiquette.

Rex, I apologize for making your post about me.

Now, a note to all: I've known about this forum for a couple of years but have not paid it the attention it deserves. I thoroughly enjoy seeing what others are doing......and really enjoy the pictures! I intend to be a good member of the community and contribute when I can.

Tight Lines All!

Shoot, don't worry about it. I'm not concerned, and those are some impressive fish.

Eventually, I plan to post the full trip report. I just haven't had chance to finish it yet.

However, you will of course be expected to eventually name the lake where you were fishing. laugh

Me??? I didn't fish in CO this summer. (I drove through CO twice, but I don't think that counts. laugh )

However, I just posted the Yellowstone details.
