There's not many crappie shows on TV and he talks about fishing all over, but it still gives you some insight into shallow water spider rigging with long poles. Even though this is called Fox Sports Southwest, Barry Stokes is on Granada Lake in Mississippi demonstrating spider rigging and catching some slabs. His rod holder setup is unique in that he fishes alone, so he stands up in the middle of them and uses 4 rods. Most use a double down seat, 2 people and 8 rods. But he still gets the job done and shows a different productive method.

Its a good shout out for Bee Readys

There isn't much programming info on the TV show. Here's what it looks like on UVerse.

May need to check on that, BeeReady is from Skiatook, OK owned by Rick Setinger.

True dat!!
Rick makes them. Ed distributes from Lucas out of his little shop out back. I think Ed has handled them for 6 or 7+ years?? Paul has done one of the commercials for them. All I meant was its a family affair and a local deal... not a huge company. I like to support all the small locals.
A lot of the local guys, Tex (catfish), Paul O'Bier and others have had lots of input into the design. What they came up with is a rod holder strong enough for big cats, and also sensitive, super adjustable and strong enough for crappie... and last forever. lol
It is neat to see them on Barry's show on TV.

I met Rick out at Lake Fork a few years back. Great guy. He makes an annual trip out there with a bunch of guys from OK. He gave me a box of hats to pass out to the CAT guys. We were about to have a CAT "fun fishing" gathering and fish fry there at the same cabins.

One thing wrong. You are only allowed three poles on Grenada.

That wasn't the case two years ago when four of us from the forum fished it. No limit on poles then and we fished 8 the entire trip (two boats, 8 poles each). Just sayin......

Here's that commercial I was talking about with our local guy Paul O'Bier.
Pretty good TV spot! This is from a few years ago on a "Crappie Time" TV show.
