Mr. Christian was kind enough to take my wife and I fishing last week and teach us his method of catching white bass. He picked us up from Don's Port Marina at 7:30 a.m. We were Fishing by 7:45 and had caught around 30 fish by 10:30. Dennis has a very effective method for catching white bass and hybrids using the Mepps Aglia spinner lure, his video on youtube was very helpful. Getting to fish with Dennis was a game changer for me and catching fish on this huge lake. He taught me how to identify schools of fish on a sonar screen, and the technique to catching them one after the other! I was able to go back to the same area we fished, and catch another 20 fish the next day. Mr. Christian gave us a great time on the lake, He is an awesome Ol' Ag we were very fortunate to get this experience and look forward to fishing with Dennis again.

I went to the TP&WD page to look up Don`s Port Marina on Cedar Creek and couldn`t find it. Can someone help me with finding this location?

Dons port is now Lone Star Marina. It is off HWY. 274 between 7 points and Trinidad. There is a big sign out on 274. Turn there and follow the other signs.

I can't thank Dennis enough, myself, friends and customers have caught so many fish using the Mepps Technique that I feel we wouldn't have had we been simply bouncing slabs, especially this time of the year. I tell people all the time that I might not even own a boat if it weren't for iPilot and Dennis's Mepps Technique and I dang sure wouldn't have a $50K boat and starting a guiding business on the side... haha

People like Bob Holmes, Dennis, & many others have helped me more than I could have ever imagined, and that's what this fine sport is all about! So thank you all!

Thanks for the info on Mepp Spinners for sand bass. I never knew they would like this bait! I will try it Monday at Lewisville!
