Buddies and I put in kayaks and fished the creek east and west of the 35 bridge. Only one bass was caught, with several other bites being missed. We were trying mainly for catfish in the brush piles. We manage a few bites but no catfish were landed.
Still it was a nice time on the water. Got to try out a kayak I was thinking about getting.
Fun day . sorry no pictures. my water camera was not charged up so I didn't take.

In the spring, west of 35, It has quite the sand bass run when the water levels are normal. Have had some amazing days on that creek during that time.
