Does anyone here have any experience bass fishing there? Any insight to help a first-time visitor there?

I haven't thought about Willow Lake in years Tex, so I would like to thank you for bringing back some fond memories....

Willow lake is a small body of water in downtown Henderson and is spring fed so the water level never changes. It has been many years since I fished it, but used to catch a lot of bass up to 2 lbs there. The water depth might get 8' to 10' in the middle, but for the most part you'll be fishing shallow around the bank. I don't recall there being any structure in the pond, but you will find fallen timber around the bank.....

If you go please let me know how you do, because I'm curious how the little body of water has developed over the years. By the way, when you get through fishing you can eat at Jalapeno Tree. The lake is right behind the restaurant.....

Sometime this Fall you and I need to get together, so I can take you to a private lake where I own a share. A person can catch bass all day in the 2 pound range, but it also has some trophies in it as well. It is in Big Sandy area and would be perfect for your Bass Buster....

Sounds great to me, Mr. Grigg, and thanks for the idea of us getting together in the fall. I'll look forward to meeting you and spending some time on the water with you.
