 Fishing Map Software Question?

I just got a Lowrance Elite 5 HDI installed. I wanted to know do I need a certain map card for this or the insight genesis have a specific map card I would need. I'm looking for something that can get the job done and not spend a fortune. As far as on insight genesis am I able to enter GPS coordinates on the site, save them, then transfer those to the card, enter the card into the Lowrance and them be saved on there. I'm new to all this stuff but wanted to use the upgraded maps that show where timber, creek channels, road beds are in these lakes, right now I just see depths and contours.

I use Navionics inshore and offshore.

Here is an online FREE Navionics map so you can see what to expect. I use this free app map to plan my trips sometimes.I have pinpointed Lake Granger since that seems to be where you go most times. Lake Granger on Navionics
