You would think the lake was still closed. I guess no one fishes the lake! I have been out a couple of times to try and prepare for the club tournament this weekend, graphing lots of fish near rip-rap. A good thermocline at 22-25 FOW, but I ain't caught shi anything.

I landed a fine 4" LMB last weekend on a crappie jig in 17' of water. I guess that they are still in there. It has been TOUGH lately.

Good luck on your T this weekend.

been meaning to get out there and check things out since ramps opening back up, and now Lewisville and pool as well... boat starter decided it didn't like not being used while the lakes were flooded though, hopefully she will be back in action quickly and I can go explore and give you some feedback when I can!

Those reports get compiled from guide and angler reports. Lately I doubt there have been many reports being sent in.

the reports I have seen have been very rough with not much to report anyways fyi... needless to say a lake that has barely been fished form being bone dry to flooded a month after it finally opened ramps back up pretty much... dinkfest. If you go, bring home limits of eater bass every time you can, the lake is going to need it bad to improve as a fishery lol

Lavon went from 13 feet low to 11.5 feet high (+24.5 feet) and has fallen 12 feet in the last two months (release and usage). It now sits about 1 foot below pool. I think it is safe to say the fishing is going to be pretty messed up for a while.

Those reports are terrible. Last year they were reporting the fishing was great on Cooper. Finding schools on the humps and catching catfish on trot lines. The truth was the lake was so low all boat ramps was closed and no one was out on the water. Don't believe everything you read.

ATV/Jeep trails through all the brush that was grown up along the creeks north of the bridges, and out to the shores sounds great to get up into... probably fishes like the flooded reeds on Alvarado right now lol, hopefully I can go explore this weekend
