On Tuesday I had my buddies Ronny and Howard out for a morning on Somerville. Lake continues to drop, now a little over 4' above normal. We tried to move a lot to locate some action and some spots produced and some spots that had produced were empty. We fished seven different spots on this day. Two of the spots produced cats.

Ended up the morning with 45 nice cats. All fish caught under corks, on CJ's Crawdad punch bait, in 6-10 foot water.

Today I had Clay and his buddy Hank out for a morning of relaxing. Clay said he had worked 60 straight days, 12 hours per day, without a day off. In fact, he got off at 6 am this morning, came fishing, and goes back to work tonight. Several times on the trip he reminded me that this relaxation was just what he needed.
Clay managed the largest fish at 4.5#.

They ended the morning with 39 nice cats to take back to work for a fish fry. All fish caught on CJ's Wild Hopper punch bait, under corks, in 6-10 foot water.

Hank missed out on the picture, LOL.

The boat ramp at Overlook is open now I think and has been for about a week? Anyone put in there recently?

Used Overlook today, all is fine at Overlook boat ramp and marina, even the bathroom at the marina is working with a new roof to boot.
