While Fishing The 2015 Blue water kayak classic i managed to land two huge stingrays, this was the bigger one at over 150 pounds and an easy 6-7 foot wingspan. i had already landed a 46 inch cobia but knew i needed a bigger one to win the tournament because my friend landed one at about he same size as mine early in the day. before i saw that ray i thought it was a 100 pound cobia for sure, it ate a 30 inch long ribbonfish on a 100# fluorocarbon leader and pulled me around at speed while i fought it for 35 minutes on 100# braid with 33# of drag on the reel. still a pretty cool fish though not what i was after, got to play with the 5 cobia following it around for about 4 minutes they were smaller than i needed and didnt really want to eat though
