Taking my Dad out to PK for couple days this week or early next week. Haven't been out there in years. Anybody got any advice on where, depths etc for black bass. I know stripers are good right now, but he likes the black bass. Any help at all would be appreciated.

Super tough fishing right now. Seems like the bass are really scattered. Some bass shallow in the salt cedars and some on deeper ledges.

Like what striperkid asked this will be my very first trip to PK never even seen this lake and from what I have read and seen on video about the lake is that the fishing is better south of Costello island. Wanting to know is the lake low or close to pool with the rains from spring, launching on the west side looks like a lot of fingers and coves, some docks to fish, says it's a clear lake and length limit is 16" for bass. Having a 2 day tourney there so any info will help, like all that ask not secret spots just some general ideas like don't waste your time on that part of the lake, everybody in the tourney will be asking the same questions. Going a few days early to look the lake over, hope the fishing picks up so we have a good tourney for all of us. Thanks

The lake is full, maybe a foot low, great shape compared to a few months ago (10+ ft low)
16" limit, I wouldn't call the water clear by any means tho.
Haven't been in some time so I have no fishing advice unfortunately. .

The way I've been fishing lately it wouldn't be a bad idea, but I'm just going to follow you, lol. I think it'll be a little better than Texoma. Looking forward to fishing PK and get back together with everybody. Got a cabin at Fox Hollow was going to Bass Hollow but they have a restaurant at Fox was a toss up. See ya there, going Thurs.
