Hi I fish Palestine on a regular basis but I've never put in at the villages. I've always fished below 155 bridge because I've always been told that if you don't know the lanes , it can be very dangerous up there.. Are there any general hazzards that I need to watch out for? A buddy has told me that the fish are biting very good on the road bed near submerged concrete pilings.

Leave early and just idle the first couple times out. You will figure it out.

Where are you trying to go from the Villages? If north, don't try it blind on your own. If south, search Lake Palestine threads on this forum and you will find a "general idea" map I posted.
