I've got a citica 200G5 crank bait reel I'd like to upgrade bearings in. Any recommendations?

I have not found them locally where I am and usually just order them off of the web for customers

I just put Boca orange seals in all my reels. Seem to work pretty well but there is some noise running them dry. I really want to try a set of these from Hedgehog.

if you opted for the ceramics that is why they are noisy. Ceramic bearings are much nosier not sure if lubing them will help or not just make sure you use a lube safe for ceramic.

What is the difference between the Bocas and the ABEC 7 ceramic bearings that you can get from China for less than half the price? If they carry the same ABEC 7 rating, aren't they going to be pretty similar?

What customer service would you need after you purchase the bearings?

I ordered some ABEC 7 chinese bearings and Bocas to compare. I got 10 chinese bearings and 4 bocas for the same price.

Wise buy! There are no bearing manufactures in USA, ABEC 7 are just that, regardless who you buy them from. BTW-why does anyone need bearings that can spin 10K+ in a fishing reel? Manufactures go to great extent to slow down spool spin. ABEC 3s are more than smooth/fast enough.. I believe most people hailing Boca bearings are just feeling the difference between worn bearings and new bearings.

Generally when I buy they will give a discount and send free stuff sometimes...plus I did order bearings one time and they took an extended time to get here and when I called they rushed me another set...shortly after the new set arrived, the first set arrived...I called them and asked where I should send the other set back to and they told me to just keep them...plus I like keeping money in the USA
