This has been covered a lot here with many of you talking a big game about how you want to fish one. I am in no way affiliated w BLT but they are starting a fall division Solo trail and start at Texoma this Sunday. How many of you plan on fishing it? The North Texas guys are the worst, it seems, about griping about trails, formats, etc but the best at not even showing up. Whining about Rayburn and Toledo getting all the trails and not going down there because they can't compete with the locals, but many of the East guys have no problem coming to Ray Bob and Texoma. Y'all enlighten me please.

I was interested in the Rayburn Solo series, but 170$ to fish for first place...... If they had a larger turn out 50 plus teams, I would be interested.

They kinda shoot themselves in the foot sometimes with their scheduling. Can't blame everything on the anglers. They only got 8 at their solo event on Rayburn Sunday. Guess what. They scheduled right on top of the Angler's Quest solo.

And Quest only drew 10 boats... Aba weekend series drew 27 boats.... Seems like tournament numbers are dwindling in Texas.....

BFL had good numbers this year. ABA suffered on all events this year on Rayburn and Toledo. Summer events always have lower numbers.

They schedule it like that on purpose. They let guys fish both tournaments at the same time. I do agree they do it to themselves.

They are on opposite ends of the lake though. I haven't checked, but I would be willing to bet no one fished both.

Prefish twice when coming from the DFW area, plus entry fee, (add membership fee for some) should put most people around 450 bucks. Have to assume they are pulling around 10-15 boats. Only way to make your money back is to win... Sorry, but not the numbers that persuade most guys to come play unless they are constantly fishing that lake.
