Went fishing Sunday and caught a bunch of catfish under 12" . Every single time for the past 5 years I go I always catch small fish there. Never have caught a catfish over 2 lbs out that lake. Is it because it being heavily fished by jugs and trot lines??

Mexia take some time it is a shallow lake. Make lakes when I chum I give it 30 min ther no longer then15min then I move. You will always fined them in vegatation or stump and other structure. I can't help a lot of decent if out if the but you have to move move move!!! And get a good cheese bait. I personly like Chemdawgs and don't for get to chum don't be afraid to spread out 3-4 scoops
