A buddy and I are taking our kayaks out to alan henry Thursday morning, anyone have any tips of catching some fish? I do tnecesarily want to catcheck big ones, I'd be happy to catch a ton of spots personally.

I think we are gonna end up heading towards gobler creek and fishing the points and humps we come across with crankbaits and texas rigged worms and flukes unless we find something else that works

A buddy of mine went out there Sunday afternoon and said he probably caught close to 100 10-12" spots. You can easily go out there and catch a good number of fish right now.

I'm thinking that the mouths of coves with shallow backs and mouths of creek are gonna be good with the cooler weather today. Hopefully we can get onto a bit bigger fish than 10-12 lol. I just wanna get bit though!

On the last Working Man's T, we had 6 2 fish limits weighed, with 3-7 being the winner with a heavy fish of 2-2. 2nd place was 2-13. I was in 3rd place at 2-7. Fish were caught all over the lake. Topwater, black spinnerbait (night fishing) and blue fleck worms, T-rigged. We had 8 people of 11 weigh fish. They are pretty scattered out right now, as it shows in how they are caught. Hope this helps. If you were going Sat. morning, I would have a report for you for Friday night, but sorry about that. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
