Was wondering where would be the best place to have a chance at catching a hybrid from the kayak on Ray Hubbard? I don't know that lake that well I spend most of my time at Lavon since its a mile up the street. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

I don't specific know Hubbard that well. Cooper, Twok, and Texoma are my favorite places for hybrids. But just some general advice: troll around taking special interest to the points, and any humps you come across. If you have a nav chip in a gps it can help locate both. Also be on the lookout on ur sonar for large baitballs and keep your eyes open for birds working the surface.

In my experience red barn cove and the gravel pits this time of year early in the morning with live bait is best. Otherwise troll deep crankbaits, alabama rigs and hell pet rigs in the same areas.

North sides of both I30 bridges near bottom. I have a blast with them while crappie fishing with minnows.
