Just wanted to let anyone interested that knew Eddie Ferguson that he passed away about an hour ago at his home. Neighbor found him slumped over wheel of his Polaris dead of an apparant heart attack. He was still a young man and pretty healthy so its shocking to all of us. He lived in Weatherford but was from Springtown. He was a longtime angler that had a lot of success back in the Honey Hole trail, Texas Top 100 etc days. More recently he had fished Media etc. He also was a former bull rider and team roper. He competed in that as well. He was tough on PK, EM and other area lakes. Incredible jig fisherman too. Still stunned. Really have no words right now. He was my cousin and we grew up together. he got me into tournament fishing and taught me a lot about fishing and hunting in general. Gonna miss him more than I can say. Just wanted those that knew him to know.
