Hello guys (and gals)!

I am taking my dad out with his new to him bass boat this coming weekend to Lake Fork and wanted to get an suggestion on which marina has the best access and easiest to get to from 380->i30.

I've never been on that lake so, any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

you will be coming down from Greenville so you have a ton of options. I would recommend Popes or Lake Fork marina (LFM has a restaurant but is slow service) (directly off of 69)...or you can take 69 to 515 to 154 and use Oak Ridge (they have a nice restaurant)

Oakridge would be the safest to get to and from in a boat.

This. Never been on Fork, new-to-you boat, first trip- stay at Oak Ridge, launch at Oak Ridge. Follow the boat lanes and idle slowly when off path. You'll be fine. Lots of great water to fish right there. Good luck and enjoy your time on the "mistress."

Thanks for the great replies. Oak Ridge it is. I have a ski boat so, being in a boat isn't new to me, just fishing from one is.

I will definitely take it slow and cautious, just hope I can put him on some fish and make it a memorable trip.
