What's the best spot to use for night fishing. Went to fork a few times with my streamlight but didn't really seem that bright. Saw someone out there a few weeks ago I was probably 300 yards away and it was like looking into the sun.

I use a rechargeable Brinkman 2 million candlepower. But I use it very sparingly as it will blind oncoming traffic or fisherman off to the side. I hold it over the side of the boat and shine out from under the nose.
