I've purchased some very odd colored senkos to use on tough days and just for fun/experimentation. Some are pink, orange/yellow, sweet potato pie, white/chartreuse... Has anyone had success on "unnatural" colors, or some in certain conditions?

I would think so a buddy of mine kills them on a bubblegum pink fluke. It's actually kind of funny seeing him catch so many!

white/chartreuse is a favorite of mine. I've heard a lot of people having success with the pink.

I think fish see shades of colors, lights or darks. Most colors catch fisherman not fish.

Don't know if they make it anymore but my buddy caught a bunch of big fish on a black/yellow zebra striped Senko. Wasn't fishing them at night either.

I agree 100%. I can't scientifically prove my view but the "experts" that say otherwise can't really prove theirs either. :-)

Sometimes a slight color change can make a huge difference in pressured waters. They have to be able to see more than just shades. Or can tell very slight differences in shade.

I was throwing a watermelon red senko a while back on some pressure waters and only catching a few. I changed to motor oil red and started whacking them.

Nature says otherwise... I can't help but imagine fish themselves come on all various shapes and sizes for a reason too.

That said, bass are predators based less on sight than other aspects and have to make a rapid decision if something is food or not. An unnatural color like neon pink is definitely NOT just a leaf fluttering down in the water, and likely warrants an exploratory chomp of opportunity for a fish who has never seen it before.

But a cautious bass would disregard an obviously unnatural color as not food all the same I imagine, and instead be more likely to explore something matching forage but appearing vulnerable prey.

Now for the part where 3 people tell me I give them too much credit as always.

Just be careful messing around or you might accidently get your arm broke and catch your personal best on a bubblegun and junebug ZOOM trick worm you let your ex pick out... Not that I'd know anything about such things...

Bubble gum senkos are awesome at the right time. Bubble gum and also methiolate magnum trick worms are good too.
