Does one know of any good spots to catch a mess of catfish on Granger? I went to the flooded willows just west of this pin on the map and caught 5 channels just 1 keeper a couple weekends ago. It's real shallow over there 2-3 feet deep, fished some sudden impact punch bait under a cork. I want to have a good time with my 2 boys and do some good eating....any help would be a blessing.

Try deeper or slip corks over deeper water and worms for channels. We've been catching at least 50 in a 2 hour trip when I take the kids for channels. Not on granger but the rip rap at the dam, corks, and worms have been working. Fish suspended with your cork 4 to 5ft deep over 12 to 15ft water.

Thanks for your help. I'll be in my boat though with my boys didn't want to do any bank fishing on that side by the dam. From what I been reading online a lot of people catch carp over there.

What time of day have you been catching?
