Better book a trip folks this year Fall season is gonna start early ... a few more north wind fronts are coming starting midweek this week, temp dipping to lower 60s at night... Gotta love cold water if ya wanna catch big blues. Why do I go fishing? To catch a box of fish and/or some quality time under the sun. Thank Heaven I never fail fishing in Texas, catching box fish or plenty of sunburn.

I encourage all my customers to practice conservation and throw back the big boys. But at the end of the day it is there fish, so If they want to keep it its up to them. Most guides that are not on slot lakes still practice the ten or so lb rule. Just like when I go to Twok or Lavon. No fish over ten lbs is kept. People are made aware of this before a deposit for the trip is even made.
