My caliper on one side is stuck, I have a brake bypass pin to put up by the tongue, does it go in colasped or extended? Need to get it 30 miles to fix and don't want to mess it up.

Have seen guys have to remove the caliper to get to where they are going. Even with the pin in the brake will rub and get hot when it is stuck out. Sometimes a big hammer is needed. You have to hit the caliper on the inside.

Probably need to find a way to release the caliper so it wont rub before you use the pin to bypass the brakes.
