Just got back from a trip to the Frio River. Didn't get a chance to fish the Frio but on the way out there on Wednesday I couldn't pass up the opportunity to fish the Sabinal so I made a little detour to Utopia. Only got to fish for about 45 minutes before getting called to meet up with everyone else at the rent house in Concan. Here's a few of the fish I was able to catch in the short time I had.

That's a nice catch. I really enjoy that area. Haven't been in a couple of years, but plan on going back soon.

Those are beauties. And the water looks great. Wish I lived close to a river like that. Congrats.

Nice fish and pics! I just got back from there Sunday. Was my first time to the area. We will be back, for sure.

Where did you access the river? Was it in a park in town, or did you just find access of the highway?

'ppreciate it y'all!

Brocephus I fished it at a park in Utopia. If you look at Utopia on Google Maps it's by where the baseball diamond is.

I think I drove by there. Hope you had time for pie at Lost Maples Café. That pie may be worth the drive from Dallas...
