Finally finally finally! Catching good numbers and great size! Everyone who has been with me knows all we do is timber fish.. The fish are doing exactly what they should be on Roberts right now. Any kind of tree works, and it doesn't matter the depth of the water. It can be 12, or it can be 100ft. Every fish I catch is holding between 12-18 ft. I've caught fish all over the lake lately. There are certain ways to eliminate certain trees and find more productive areas. That's some of the things I try to teach when I'm asked that question on a trip. If you're looking to catch some fish, or want to learn how to effectively fish timber, now is A great time to do it. I have a few openings during the week.
