I hate summer cold fronts. There isn't much difference between 98 and 96 and it messes up what little wind we have.

Very true, but there is a big difference between 105 and 95.

We did terrible tonight. East wind is strange. It was slow on Eagle Mountain last night. Only caught 2 eaters. Wind was light and variable. Sandies were boiling at midnight and a 1% moon. I have no idea how to catch those things at night so I didn't even try.

I caught 2 channels, and dropped one back in the water accidentally. No blues. It was just one of those nights.

Very true, but there is a big difference between 105 and 95. I'll take the heat and steady south on wind.

We actually did pretty good last night. Took tiny's advice and anchored shallower than we usually do. Filled a cooler until it was hard to lift without help. Nothing under 2lbs, big fish was 10lbs, so no big ones but steady action for a hot summer night. Bugs were horrible.

The two channels I caught were off a point in about 3 feet of water. Probably should have just sat there all night, but we moved to look for bigger fish.

We never marked stacked up schools like we were hoping to find. Our best marks, size and numbers wise, was in deeper water around 20ft but we sat on them for an hour and only had one bite that was a miss. Didn't mark a crazy amount in the shallow water but they were feeding. Bites came in waves every 20mins or so.
